TAG! Queer Shorts Festival is your Portland, Oregon-based international festival of short film, featuring work made exclusively by queer and trans directors. We are a sponsored program of the historic Hollywood Theatre in Portland.

Tag! is excited to announce a new award program for qualifying 2025 films!
The QUEST CENTER AWARD for RESILIENCE IN RECOVERY will go to the film that best addresses the influence of community and collective strength on individual recovery journeys involving mental health, substance use disorders and related behavioral health challenges. This award is sponsored by the Quest Center for Integrative Health
The MILAGRO AWARD for HISPANE/LATINE CREATIVITY is for the film that best embodies Latino/a/e creativity in filmmaking. To be considered for this award, the director must identify as belonging to an ethnic group rooted in Latin America or other Spanish-speaking areas of the world, regardless of current region of residency or the language of the film production.
Finally, the DIRECTOR'S AWARD will go to a film that the festival organizer selects on the basis of both technical merit and community impact.
TAG! is a QTBIPOC-run festival that seeks to amplify the voices of queer artists of color.
